My mission at North Star Santa is absolutely thrilling—it goes way beyond just the festive season! I'm on a passionate quest to educate children about the incredible power of kindness. I truly believe that the most amazing gift we can share is kindness itself! Just think about it: random simple acts of kindness, like helping out with chores, lending a hand to a neighbor, or flashing a smile at a total stranger, can create a ripple effect of joy! By championing these acts of kindness, I hope to ignite a fire of inspiration in the next generation, encouraging them to spread kindness and Christmas cheer throughout their communities. Let’s make the world a brighter place together!

My passion for supporting my community ignited back in 1988 when I jumped at the chance to become a volunteer firefighter with the Benicia Fire Department and the Benicia Volunteer Firemen Inc! Being part of the Benicia Volunteer Firemen Inc. was an incredible experience, as we provided various community services and even operated a museum that celebrated our local history. Over my 13 years of service, I had the thrill of turning into Santa several times—can you imagine?! Driving around Benicia on our antique fire engine, all decked out with Christmas lights, spreading joy and holiday cheer, was truly magical. I even donned the Santa suit for our department parties, making the holidays special for countless families!
Fast forward to 2021 and 2022, and I got the immense joy of portraying Santa at the Glen Cove Christmas House in Vallejo, California! It was bittersweet, as those were their last two years of operation. But wow, what an experience! The Glen Cove Christmas House was a beloved destination in the northern SF Bay Area, gaining national fame when it appeared on ABC's Christmas Light Fight in 2014!
Then, in 2022 and 2023, I had the absolute pleasure of bringing the spirit of Santa to the brunch with Santa at the Inn at Benicia Bay, in Benicia, CA! Picture this: Santa mingling with patrons at the café, sharing delicious meals and spreading holiday cheer! If you haven’t been to the Café at the Inn at Benicia Bay yet, you’re missing out on some truly scrumptious food! Plus, I also got to meet children at several businesses and family homes, making even more holiday memories. It’s been an unforgettable journey filled with laughter, joy, and community spirit!
